Something else I've wanted to do FOREVER is make informational slides for each countries that I teach about in Holidays Around the World. There is just not much information out there for so many of the countries/holidays. I have taken what I know and what I've researched/read and put the information in slides with graphics.  There are 20 countries included and 4 slides per country (1 slide with the country's flag and 3 slides with information).

If you buy Holidays Around the World Bundle (1, 2, 3) you get the informational slides FOR FREE as a bonus! (You can also buy it as a stand-alone product)

I know you're spending your own money on this and I want you to make the most informed decision. Because of the updates I've made the past year, I feel like this product has everything we need to teach Holidays Around the World and not get sick of it each year (there are SO many options, guys!).  Want to know more? I've made this video to describe pretty much everything in the pack so you can see exactly what's included. If you purchase the NEW bundle, you get 20 countries instead of 13!

If you own Holidays Around the World Bundle (Part 1 and 2), but you still want more countries, Part 3 is the stand-alone pack so you can still get 8 more countries!

  • Brazil- Christmas (Sandpaper Snowman)
  • South Africa- Christmas (Bead Christmas Tree)
  • China- Chinese New Year (Fireworks Painting)
  • Saudi Arabia- Eid al-Fitr (Lantern)
  • Russia- New Year's (Nesting Doll Craft)
  • Greece- Christmas (Sailboat Craft and Writing)
  • United Arab Emirates- Ramadan (Moon and Star Craft)
  • America or Canada- Christmas (Ornament Watercolor)

Sonic's Limeades for Learning! (Giveaway!!)

We are excited to partner with SONIC to participate in their Limeades for Learning Fall Voting Campaign! #ad

Did You Know?

Through Limeades for Learning, in partnership with DonorsChoose.org SONIC has donated more than $13.1 million, providing learning materials and teaching resources to impact nearly one million students.

How It Works:

From now until Sunday, October 27, you can help public school teachers by voting for projects that inspire you. Through Fall Voting, SONIC puts its $1 million donation in the hands of SONIC fans, asking them to decide where the funds go by voting for teacher projects at LimeadesforLearning.com.

During the four-week voting period, the projects with the most votes at the end of each week will receive funding from SONIC. (Projects that didn’t receive funding that week will have their votes carry over into the following weeks.)

Anyone can join SONIC and make a huge difference for public school teachers simply by voting.

There are three ways to earn votes for teacher projects throughout the Fall Voting campaign:
1. Vote once daily after signing up with a valid email address
2. Visit a SONIC Drive-In to get a bag sticker code worth two votes
3. Vote ten times to receive three extra votes via email

As part of this partnership, SONIC provided me with a $200 gift card to donate to projects that inspire me! I am excited to donate to the following DonorsChoose Projects to help local schools in my community!

Exciting Non Fiction - This is actually my son's 4th grade teacher! She wrote a grant to get a subscription to Scholastic News magazines to help her students have access to engaging non fiction reading materials.

Learning About Native Americans Through Art - This is a teacher at my nearby school. She wants to get some art supplies to create rugs and baskets with her students to help them understand and appreciate Native American art.

A Fun a Flexible Learning Environment - This is a special education teacher who teaches at a school in my area. She wants to provide her students with a more flexible learning environment by providing students with balance balls, fidget feet bands, and more to help her students with attention problems.

I truly wish I had more gift cards to bless the lives of more students, not only in my community, but all around the country! There are SO many deserving teachers with amazing projects waiting to be funded! I may not be able to donate to all the projects, but I'm happy to announce that SONIC is going to give away a $100 gift card to DonorsChoose to one of our readers!

GIVEAWAY!

SONIC is giving us the opportunity to give away a $100 gift card to DonorsChoose as well as a $25 gift card to SONIC!

Follow the instructions in the Rafflecopter below for a chance to win!

P.S. My favorite thing to order at SONIC is a Dr. Pepper with white coconut syrup. We call it a Dirty Dr. Pepper in Utah and it is one of my favorite things in the whole world. I *might* be a little addicted! Try it and thank me later. :)
