Hi,
I teach K and in the spring we do a zoo report/project. This would be perfect. I am really interested in what you come up with for the other areas. Our kindergarten doesn't have a computer teacher so it is left up to the teacher. I am looking forward to what you come up with.
Thanks

My students would LOVE this. It would tie in nicely with our nonfiction reading units and be an awesome addition to our field trip to the zoo. Most of my students have never been to a zoo or seen wild animals so it's the highlight of the year for them, and even more fun for them to read/research these animals. What a great product!
I like they way you set this up! Cool!

Most of my boys love non-fiction and the girls love to draw, so everyone will be happy, especially with the differentiated templates. The pics are just too cute for the kids not to love it. thanks!
These animal reports are a great way to get started in learning to do reports. Love the great variety of animals and the differentiation!
Wow! As a newbie to 1st, a packet like this would be so exciting to use!! Rather than use the whole packet at once, students could coordinate and work together to pick a few animals during the seasons to research. This not only teaches them how to do research, review table of contents, and take notes but how to work together to create a finished piece! I am honestly just in LOVE with all of your stuff!!!! Ah!
I want this! It looks great!
This is so nice!
I love this unit and I think the kid would just love it!!! I work with children with autism and this would be perfect for them to use and learn about all the animals and practice their handwriting skills.

Who doesn't love learning about animals!! I'll use these with my own kiddos at home ;)
Hi Natalie! I just stumbled across your page and noted that you're teaching computers soon. My hubby is a computer specialist at my school for grades k-7, and also leads a tech club for grades 4-7. He has tons of info about internet safety, typing programs, projects and the basic skills needed - if you need any tips we'd be happy to pass them along when the time comes.
Cheers!
:-)
