End of Year Writing

I created this little brainstorm page to guide students through an end of the year reflection essay.
The completed essay will be 10 paragraphs long highlighting some of their favorite things throughout the year.

I've never done a structured piece of writing like this at the end of the year before, so I'm a little unsure that the finished product will look like. I'm excited to see how they all turn out!

Thanks for the organizer - my 6th graders are going to freak when they see we are going to work on 10 paragraphs!

Virginia - You could have them choose 5 or so to write about. That would be a lot less intimidating. :)

My kindergarteners are NOT going to write 10 paragraphs, but they could jot their ideas in each box - or even write a sentence - and be done. Maybe I could even print 2 and have the corresponding pictures on the 2nd page...oh yay! :)

I'm going to save this one for next year and complete it throughout May to put in as part of their electronic portfolio. Great organizer!
