I made the Oh, Hello above my door and the arrows on the side with my Silhouette Cameo.
I am so excited to share my classroom with you! I haven't "re-done" a classroom in YEARS! I have just kept my same classroom for a few years and I felt content. BUT, this year I moved to a brand-new school and I felt completely inspired to just go all out. I've had a blast decorating, but I'm exhausted. Natalie took some amazing pictures and she made it look even better than I thought it could look. Good lighting and camera goes a long way. ;)
This year I'm not doing a "theme". I've done jungle, bugs, and cooking. This year, I was just completely inspired by the bright polka dot, striped, and chevron borders from Teacher Created Resources. I love every border that I've ever ordered from them! Plus they have way more than just borders. :)

These are my "Tidy Tubs". Nicole from Rowdy in Room 300 is a genius and gave me this idea! She puts a "Tidy Tub" on each table while her students are doing cutting projects. It helps keep the students in their seats working instead of going back and forth to the garbage can to throw away their scraps. SO SMART!

Second Grade is Out of This World!
This is amazing! I love the "Oh, Hello" above your door! I love sticking with just the colors/patterns theme in the classroom. I've tried other themes and I think this is the easiest/cleanest way to go! :) What an inviting space you've created!

Fantastic job! I'm sure you are exhausted. We don't go back for another three weeks but I'm already overwhelmed thinking about where to start! Enjoy :)
Your classroom looks AMAZING! You obviously put so much work into it. Do you have the direct link for the rug? I couldn't find it on Zulily and would love to have the same one for my classroom!
This looks amazing!!! I'm not sure if I missed it but the black paper.. is it just black bulletin paper with chalk rubbed on it or is that the actual paper? Love it! You also look fabulous! :)
This is way fun! I have a new room this year, but a makeover isn't in the plans. Just hoping I have room to fit 29 desks!
What a beautiful space! Your firsties are going to be so excited to come to school everyday! Those chalkboard bulletin boards are to die for. SUCH a fabulous idea!!

I love your room! You did a great job decorating it! I'm with y on just decorating with lines, dots, and chevron! I've done themes for about 10 years...I'm kind of burnt out! I wish I was moving to a new and bigger room! I'm in an old school and the room is an old older grade room! It is rough!
Good luck with school! Thanks for sharing! You are beautiful, I love your shirt, where did you get it?
I LOVE the Oh, Hello sign. So simple and cute!

Your classroom is absolutely adorable.....what a welcoming and fun place to learn. Your students are very lucky! I love your Tidy Tubs and so appreciate your sharing your labels. I have six tables, though; would it be possible for you to add a #6 to your Tidy Tub labels? I hope I'm not asking too much since it is a freebie. Thank you so much for considering it.....thank you, thank you, thank you!
Siobhan
