Hey everyone! This is Natalie and I'm excited to let all of you, our awesome readers, get to know a little bit more about me!
This is my 5th year of teaching 5th grade. I love my school and I especially love my students!
I was born and raised in Utah, graduated from Southern Utah University where I was involved in student government and my sorority (Alpha Phi - Rachelle and I are sorority sisters!!), and I am currently a blogaholic. More specifically a 'teacher blogaholic'. (And even though I teach 5th grade, I LOVE reading all of the wonderful 1st grade blogs!)

I've been married for 4 and a half years and we just had our first baby this past summer.
I LOVE being a mom!!!
(This is my baby boy when he was a week old - so precious!)
Q: What would you be doing if you weren’t a teacher?
A: I always wanted to work in New York City as some big time marketing business executive. (Not saying I ever would have made it, but it always sounded like something fun.) Nowadays, if I wasn't teaching, I'd like to be a stay-at-home mom and dedicate myself to community service type things.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Taking care of my sweet baby, watching reality tv, and blogging. (I do enjoy other stuff like reading and theater, but I just haven't had much time for extra stuff like that.)
Q: When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A: An actress. I was very close to switching my major to theater at one point in college.
(I help with our school musical every year! 2 years ago we did Seussical the Musical - these two cute girls were my students.)
A: Funny reality shows like ANTM and The Bachelor. I also love Dr. Pepper. Mexican Food, and designer cupcakes.
Q: What is your biggest fear?!
A: Sickness. (Like cancer affecting me or a family member.)
Q: When you’re on vacation, where do you like to go?
A: I love vacationing! I've loved traveling to Europe, and I love visiting historical sites, but NOTHING beats a cruise to a nice sunny beach!!
Q: What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
A: "If you can dream it, do it!" -Walt Disney

Q: What do you value most in others?
A: Positive attitudes and the ability to make others happy around you!
Q: If you could choose one of your personality traits to pass down to your kids, what would it be?
A: I guess I'd have to choose my ability to see the good in every situation/person.
Q: If you could have lunch with anyone in the world….living or dead…who would it be?
A: A president. Preferably a Founding Father or a more recent president like Obama or Bush!

Now tell us one random thing about yourself:
I worked at Disney World in college as part of the Disney College Program and lived in Orlando for 4 months. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Best parts: making friends from all over the country, getting in free to Disney World everyday of the week, and getting an awesome deal on a Disney Cruise!Oh, and... I was a clogger (you know, like tap dancing...) for over 13 years. Not many people can say that. Ha!
